How long will the approval process take, and when is construction planned to begin?

We are hopeful that approvals will be received within the early part of 2019, and plan to begin construction shortly thereafter.


Will you be repairing the parking lot before construction?

We have been making short term repairs to the parking since assuming sole management and ownership of the property this past May. Also, a large area of the parking lot was recently seal coated and re-striped to improve vehicular and pedestrian safety. Pending municipal approvals, a fully reconfigured parking lot – regraded, resurfaced and complete with all-new curbing, sidewalks, lighting, striping and signage – is a major component of this development project.


What supermarket chain is coming?

We are currently in negotiations to bring a top-brand grocer with Hudson Valley familiarity to the Goshen Plaza. However, a confidentiality agreement prohibits us from naming who that tenant would be at this time.


What happens to the remaining current tenants?

We have had meaningful discussions with the few current tenants of the Goshen Plaza, and we hope that they will choose to return as tenants in the future.


Would there be an interruption of pharmacy service during any demolition and construction?

Providing neighbors with seamless availability to prescription medications during the transition was a very important consideration for the development team. We are confident in our plan to continue pharmacy operations without interruption. We will work with the Village Engineers and Building Officials to incorporate a detailed construction phasing, sequencing and safety plan into the development project to achieve this important goal.


What are the traffic impacts? How much will traffic increase?

A comprehensive traffic study was conducted and that study will be a major component of the Village of Goshen’s review process.
