Owners of Goshen Plaza to build new center

GOSHEN – The Village of Goshen hasn’t had a supermarket in 18 years ever since the Grand Union closed its doors in the Goshen Plaza, but that will change within the next two years as Goshen Plaza’s owner, Fareri Associates, LP, Tuesday, announced plans to tear down the entire 90,000 square foot strip mall and build a new 105,000 SF, $60 million center.

Company officials presented their plans to the village planning board Tuesday night.

At present, a CVS pharmacy and three other smaller stores remain, but project manager Neil DeLuca said they plan on building an all new shopping experience.
